Se graduó en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Oaxaca, UABJO en la Lic. En Artes Plásticas y visuales con especialidad en Gráfica. En el 2009 realizó un intercambio académico en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas, ENAP-UNAM. En el 2012 obtuvo mensión honorífica en la Bienal Nacional “Shinzaburo Takeda” y en el 2016 fué acreedor al 2do. Lugar en la misma Bienal. Fué seleccionado en la I (2013) y II (2014) “Bienal Internacional de Grabado José Guadalupe Posada” (Museo José Guadalupe Posada, Aguascalientes, Mx.). En el 2014 participó en la XII Bienal de la Habana, Cuba. Mismo año fué artista invitado en la exposición colectiva en la “Internacional Exhibition of China” en el Art Museum of Sahanghai, China. Realizó una estancia en la UNM en Albuquerque New Mexico, colectivo ASARO, “Getting up P´al Pueblo” y tambien fué seleccionado en la 9th Trienal Internacional de Grafica Master Print, Kochi, Japón. En 2012 realizó una estancia en Estocolmo, Suecia, por medio del Intercambio Cultural Colectivo ASARO Oaxaca - RAKETA Suecia. Mismo año participó en el 1er Intercambio cultural “Maíz y Maguey”, Iniciativa EuroOaxaca para la transformación cultural (IETC) Europa, Oaxaca. Su obra fue seleccionada en la I Bienal Internacional de Grabado de Pequeño Formato “Francisco Paco Urondo” en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Participó en “Latino Impresa 2011 MUNT”, en Tucumán, Argentina. En 2005 fué Seleccionado en el 1er Salón Internacional del Grabado de pequeño formato "Inter-Grabado" en Minas, Uruguay. Cuenta con 8 exhibiciones individuales en México y a participado en Exposiciones colectivas en paises como Australia, E.U.A., Francia, Nicaragua, Nueva Zelanda, Suecia, Finlandia, Sudafrica, Serbia, Canada, Taiwan. Actualmente forma parte del Taller Burro Press y radica en la Ciudad de Oaxaca.
Desde mi periodo formativo en las artes parto, y permanezco, dentro de la figuración como interés artístico. En mi dibujo y pintura empleo las técnicas tradicionales de la plástica como carboncillo, grafito, óleo, acrílico y temple. Desarrollo mi trabajo en gráfica con las técnicas de xilografía, intaglio, litografía y pvc-grafía. Me interesa la figura humana y su representación contemporánea. Busco articular el drama interior de personas cercanas a mí, hacer visible y representar lo íntimo de un semblante, descubrir su lado místico. El resultado de mi trabajo es un sincretismo de técnicas con posibilidades de desencadenar diversas lecturas.
He has completed a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in UABJO (2006-2010). He specialized in Engraving technics. In 2009 he did an academic exchange at the National School of Plastic Arts, ENAP-UNAM. In 2012 he received an honorable mention in the National Biennial “Shinzaburo Takeda” four years later he won 2nd in the same Biennial. Ha was selected in the 1st and 2nd Guadalupe Posada International Biennial. In 2014 he participated in the XII Biennial in La Habana Cuba. In the same year, he was invited to the “Internacional Exhibition of China” at the Art Museum of Shanghai, China. He did an artist residency at the UNM, Albuquerque New Mexico, and was also selected in the 8th and 9th International Triennial of Graphic master Print, Kochi, Japón. In 2012 he did an artist residency in Estocolmo, Suecia as a result of a cultural exchange between Asaro Oaxaca collective and RAKETA Suecia. The same year he participated in the 1st cultural exchange “Maíz y Maguey”, EuroOaxaca Initiative for the cultural transformation (IETC) Europ. His artwork was selected in the 1st Graphic international “Francisco Paco Urondo” Biennial, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He participated in the “Latino Impresa 2011MUNT”, in Tucumán, Argentina. In 2005 he was selected in the 1st international Salon "Inter-Grabado", Minas, Uruguay. Currently, he lives in Oaxaca city and is part of the Burro Press Engraving workshop.
Since I started my studies in plastic arts, I have been interested in figuration. I use traditional technics such as charcoal, graphite, oil, acrylic y temple and for my engraving work, I use xylography, intaglio printing, lithography, and PVC-grafía. I am into human figure its representation. My artwork exalts feminine and masculine figures. I seek to articulate and represent the inner drama of close persons of mine, to make visible their hidden characteristics and to discover their mystical side. The product of my work is a mix of technics that allow different interpretations.
